We would like to welcome all hunting tourism actors and stakeholders to the 3rd and final international conference of the NorthHunt project:
Mission Impossible? -Sustainable hunting tourism
organised on 17th-18th of November 2010 in Rovaniemi, Finland
The conference will focus on the entrepreneurship aspect of hunting tourism and one of the conference days will be dedicated to the business development of hunting tourism. The conference will also publish and facilitate discussion of all project results: the three pillars of sustainability (ecological, social and economic) and practical development (products and networks). NorthHunt training material will also be available for all participants to test.
The first day of the conference is dedicated to business development and marketing of hunting tourism. The second day is more academic presenting the latest international research results relating to the hunting tourism sector.
The conference programme includes expert presentations from 7 different countries. Also entrepreneurs from 4 northern countries will provide insights to the challenges the hunting tourism companies face. The conference provides an excellent opportunity for actors of the hunting and tourism sectors to share their experiences and learn from each other. In addition, a business- to- business meeting for the hunting tourism entrepreneurs is organized in connection with the conference.
The conference is targeted for entrepreneurs, business advisors and developers, researchers, educators, administrators and policy makers related to the topic.
The registration for the conference has opened. The dead line is 29th of October.
